The plot might border on the ridiculous …although it was acceptable…nothing mind shattering…it is titled 88 minutes and last considerably longer…it has all the attributes of a good movie…drama…suspense … action…they were all there…just sort of disconnected.

I truly can’t tell you where they went wrong with this flick…remember…I am just an average person stating an opinion, not a critic. Not my favorite Al Pacino movie…although, I will probably go and see
the next movie he puts out with the same enthusiasm…just because it is Al.

I went with a group of people…we all had different opinions of this movie but the one thing we all agreed on was that it is a definite rental.

The ads for this film tease you with the expectation of watching people go through the horror of physical awareness during surgery and in truth, you do experience one…but the main premise of the film ends up being irrelevant to the actual story line. First you are hit with one decent plot twist in the film…and then get the wind knocked out of you with another plot twist that caught me totally off guard. Both played perfectly into the storyline and were really well done.

The operating scenes looked extremely real and were uncomfortable at times to watch…very graphic.

Not something you want to watch if you are considering surgery in the near future. If not…rent it…I did…and enjoyed it!

Not for children.

This had the feel of a good action movie…similar to Mission Impossible…but after seeing the same scene played over and over…eight times…even though it was through different perceptions…you want to scream!
The concept seemed interesting but the movie fell short with all the repetition.
Not my cup of tea! Rental…maybe.

Of course the way it is filmed adds to the whole atmosphere of the movie…and of course the plot…it is being filmed on a camcorder as it happens by the average people it is happening to. Imagine living your normal day-to-day life…when out of the blue, just as with 9/11…everything starts falling apart. This is a doomsday flick that was written and filmed through the average civilian’s perspective…never really actually knowing for sure what is happening to them…so all you will receive is speculation from the characters as to what is going on…never real hard answers.

You find yourself totally wrapped up with the characters and upset when it comes to an end all too quickly. I believe that you will either love this movie or hate it…there is really no room for in-betweens.

I think it would be fine for older kids, say 12 or older…may open a dialogue as to what plan of action they need to take in case something catastrophic takes place in your town.

One of the best horror/thrillers to come along in a while!

Don’t waste your money on this one!
