“Charlie Wilson’s War” is an entertaining take on a piece of American history…you must remember…this is a movie…it was enhanced for audiences…made more entertaining by the writers and directors…was not intended to sway your political beliefs…if you can keep this in mind…you will enjoy this film. One Missed Call…. really missed the mark with me! I have heard all of my life that you get what you pay for…well paying full price for a ticket to this flick proved that statement wrong.
The mediocre acting, poor special effects and a bizarre plot line really make this one a “straight to rental movie”…you know…cold rainy night…nothing on TV…and all the good stuff rented. I was looking for something different and I am still looking.
Don’t waste your money on this one!
This is a dark drama that somehow still manages to keep you riveted in spite of its slow-pacing. The main character dies in the beginning but you follow her story throughout the movie through a narration of her diary. More »
